Champion City Comic Con is Just Days Away!

It is almost halloween! That means THE CHAMPION CITY COMIC CON,returns to Springfield, Ohio October 29th 2017. Doors open at 10am and stay open until 5pm. If you like a comic centered show without the media stars and huge ticket prices then this is the show for you! We are committed to creating family friendly events that are comic centered. Our show is about, comic culture, collecting and life long reading.

“So where is this place”? 

Our home for the 2017 Champion City Comic Con is very easy to get to from Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati or any where on the I-70 Corridor at Exit #54  Click on the link for a Google Map to the venue!


“How much is this going to cost”?

Some shows admissions are $30 and up. We don’t pad our door. We give you what you want at a very cheap price! We DO Comics! Children are the future of our hobby so Kids under 12 are FREE with an adult!


“What is there to do there”? Well…

We have a lot  of comics. We have dealers for the most discerning of collectors or people who just want read a new story! Vintage and New Toys, Cards, Games, Posters, Big Little Books, Pulps. If it was printed on paper you could find it here!


We have GUESTS! At C4 we Champion the “Local Creators”. For the same ticket you get to meet Tri-state comic creators and learn about their work. Guest include Nate Lovett, Sean Forney and Springfield’s own “Twilight Star Studios!



Panels? Yeah, we got those and a Live Auction! For the same ticket price we will be hosting a number of panels that are aimed to entertain, enlighten and inspire you. Plus, the very popular “Champion City Comic Con LIVE AUCTION”. This year proceeded of the auction will go to helping creators with their fight against cancer.



We are celebrating Halloweenfest too! Comicfest is an annual event aimed at getting kids to enjoy reading. We will have FREE COMICS and CANDY for kids whle it lasts. You can come in costume but it is not necessary.



Plus we have an “After Hours” event. Every year C4 bestows unto one person an award that honors their contributions to comics. This year C4 is honoring a truly deserving winner. Former winners include Mark Waid and Chad Lambert. It is kind of a big deal!
***The Champion Award will be presented after the Champion City Comic Con at a Special roast honoring the winners achievment on October 29th 2017. While the roast is open to the public, it is still a roast. It will be rated a hard “R”. It will be to much for little ears.
