Randy Allen

Allen’s Art Images/Poor Man’s Studio Randy Allen is the founding owner and lead artist of Allen’s Art Images and Poor Man’s Studio based in Miamisburg, Ohio. Born and raised in Miamisburg Ohio, he has always had a passion for arts, pencil drawing and illustration. From an early age, he began focusing mostly on cartooning with dreams of drawing for Walt Disney. However, upon entering High School, he changed direction and began his long journey of acrylic canvas painting and design.

Specializing in classic and retro Horror along with Music inspired art, he focuses primarily in black and grey acrylic portraits using the old school brush and canvas method. Commonly referred to as having a pop art/multi layered style, Randy has painted and commissioned nearly 300 pieces of art since 2017. Randy’s work has been published in several magazines including Retrofied, Soulgrinder Fanzine, and Blood Moon Chronicles.
